Reaching Into the Universe

Logistics: things to bring

Since everyone navigates an ayahuasca diet differently, please bring your own food for the weekend. You're welcome to bring extra to share if you like.

  • Loose, comfortable clothing — and it's traditionally recommended not to wear red.
  • The venue has floor pads and meditation cushions, bring any extra you think you might need.
  • Blanket in case you get cold.
  • A small bucket for purging.
  • A small flashlight.
  • Water bottle.
  • Roll of toilet paper.

  • Sleeping bag or bedding.
  • Camping pad, an air mattress, cot, etc.
  • Pillow.
  • Optional: a tent, if you'd like a private sleeping space.

  • Toiletries.
  • Towel.
  • Clothing for both hot and cold. Temperatures can be hot during the day and then drop way down at night.
  • Small instruments, if you like.
  • A journal or voice recorder is often useful.
  • Bug repellent may be helpful.
  • Hiking boots if you might want to go for a walk.
  • Bathing suit if you don't want to use the hot tub naked.
